Both problems have now been rectified.Īll the short cuts on windows 7 did in fact work, they just worked with the 'control key' instead of the 'apple key'. Sound devices didn't work and parts of the keyboard (in particular shortcuts such as control +c/v etc) were not recognised. Last time I wrote, I had partitioned my hard drive, installed windows 7 and mac OS 10.5.8 on my early 2008 imac, but Windows 7 was not FULLY operational. Perhaps uninstall bootcamp on the windows side and reinstall it with the 10.6 disk? I have access to a 10.6 snow leopard disk, and when I inserted this into windows, i got the same error message. Unfortunately, the drivers on my Mac OS boot disk are not working.I get a 'your machine does not support 64 bit ' notice when I insert the disc into windows. Although they do work with a windows keyboard. I have access to both mac and windows by holding down the 'option key' at start up(this displays 2 icons - one for windows and one for mac. ![]() I use an imac, with 10.5.8 and bootcamp 2.0, and I have successfully partitioned my hard drive, and have windows 7 and mac installed.
